Have you ever wanted to customize thumbnail in your YouTube video, what to do I want to tell you, you had to it.when you do this you actually get more views on that video.
It is very simple not so complicated.First open youtube and then click on avatar icon which is present at the upper right hand corner.after that click on the "video manager", which is situated at the left side.this Will bring you to the list of your uploaded videos, then Select the video to customize the thumbnail.Then click on the edit.Now right here YouTube automatically shows three thumbnails, you can also choose from them.
Thumbnails gives more impressions on viewers.so you have to select an attractive thumbnail for your video.to do this click on the"custom thumbnail"button, present below the three automatically given thumbnails.
After clicking on that button you can upload the custom thumbnail from your system.the custom thumbnail can be in jpg,gif or png format.image size should not be more than 2mb.
Now I will tell you how to create a custom thumbnail without any additional software.
So go had and click on the video then we had to click on"watch on YouTube"button, so go had and click on that.Once the video loads we want to find out the exact shot we want to use.Then pause the video at the perfect picture, so now we want to do is hit on full screen mode.Now you in full screen mode, what we gonna do is take screen shot of the picture.
On Windows we can use"snipping tool".on Mac what we need to click "command-shift-4" and how you are able to take a screen shot of the video.so now save the screen shot to the desktop.
Now what we gonna do is exit the full screen mode and go to the "pixlr.com".so have go had and hit"open pixlr editor(Advanced)"after that click on the"Crete a new image".
There give the name of your image and select the Presents as movie 720p and width-1280,height-720 so go had and click "ok".
Then that brings you to the document.the next thing we have to do is, on left hand top corner click on file and the click on open image.Now you will be able to search the desktop then select the screen shot you previously taken.
After opening the image on the right hand corner click on the"A"button which enables you to enter text on image.there give text you wanted to put the image and there can also change text font styles and colour.After entering text chick ok.here you can also add some more effects to your image.After completing editing go to the top left hand side file button and down to save and then save the image to your desktop.
So now what we gonna do is come back to your YouTube channel and hit on video manager, let's hit on edit button.
Now click on the custom thumbnail button and upload the image actually edited.it may take few seconds to upload.so then select the thumbnail and hit save changes and it will be saved within seconds.Then go had and refresh the page, there can find custom thumbnail on your video.
